Better than a T.V. It is very lightweight and seemingly has more possible positions to lock the stand into than conceivable. Matter of fact, that is the stands greatest strength, as well as flaw. I know - what?
Well, it took many nights to bend, maneuver, and lock each arm into proper angle to reach the incline and height I was searching for while proped-up in bed.
Once found, I haven't adjusted it since and that's were the small flaw is because each arm rotates on its own locking push button axis so there is really no quick "fold and go" with this adjustable tray. Again, that being said, this flaw kind of adds to the "better than T.V. Tray" stability to this Furinno Tray.
This would not be the relevant choice for a parent to quickly throw a child's puzzle or meal in front of the T.V. on but more for an adult that you don't have to worry about tiny fingers getting pinched while adjusting or... Read more

Loving this laptop stand, January 17, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: FURINNO Hidup - Adjustable Cooler Fan Notebook Laptop Table Portable Bed Tray Book Stand, X7 Purple (Electronics) I read several reviews of similar items and was not 100% convinced this would be what I wanted - then it arrived! It works easily and is as sturdy as you would need while still being reasonably lightweight. The adjustments are made with spring loaded buttons and adjust in 15 degree increments and the instructions tell you what settings for a wide variety of positions. At first the fans seemed too loud as I am noise sensitive but even I have been able to forget they were on after about 10 minutes.

U can almost change it for any position. The only complain I would have is that you have to change both legs and one leg at a time, don't know why they can't be make it change both legs at once. Other than that, I am pretty satisfied with this product.
